I can't find VST for Roli Studio Player?
Ascension plugin does not show up my DAW: Ensure that you have configured your 64-Bit DAW software to search for your plugins in the directories you set when you installed Ascension 1.5. For Mac users these locations are fixed to ‘Mac HD Library Audio Plug-Ins Components/ VST/ VST3’. Ascension crashes my DAW. AU: Macintosh HD / Library / Audio / Plug-ins / Components / VST: Macintosh HD / Library / Audio / Plug-ins / VST / AAX: Macintosh HD / Library / Application Support / Avid / Audio / Plug-ins / Note: All our Macintosh plug-ins are now 64 bit only. Windows: 32-bit VST: C: Program Files (x86) Steinberg VSTPlugins 64-bit VST: C: Program. NOTE: VST3 and 32-bit plugins are not supported by Serato Studio. Unsupported plugin types will not be added to the Studio Library. Default VST Folder: Enabling the 'Default VST Folder' allows Studio to scan the default location for VST 2 Plugins. Could You tell me where I find this?
Lawrence
Hi Szwajcer, the ROLI Studio Player VST is installed to:
- C:Program FilesCommon FilesSteinbergVST2 on Windows
- Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST on Mac

Hello, I found the folder but when I direct Ableton to that folder it doesnt not load any VST, help thanks.
Lawrence
Could you please share a screenshot of the Plug-ins settings in your Ableton Live session? This will help us to ensure that everything's configured correctly - it may be that you need to enable the custom VST location and set that as C:Program FilesCommon FilesSteinbergVST2 if you're running Windows

I am on a Mac and I am having the same problem. Any answers?
Lawrence
Hi all,
The ROLI Studio Player .vst file is installed to the default system location for all .vst files on a Mac:
Macintosh/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST
Please ensure your DAW is searching this folder to ensure ROLI Studio Player can be instantiated successfully. If the ROLI Studio Player .vst file does not exist in this folder, please let us know.

Hello . Thanks for your reply. I have the folder above selected in Ableton Live. Also the vst file can be found in the VST folder however Ableton does not recognize it. Equator is the only Roli plug in that it is recognizing.
Thanks in advance

I have not heard back from tech support from a month ago (Thanks Lawrence. Not) so I'd thought I'd circle back in case anyone else is having this issue. The problem I was having is that the ROLI player is a 64 bit app and I am running Live 9 (32 bit). I solved the problem by buying/using JBridge which is a 32 bit to 64 bit bridge,

Issue
You can’t find the Equator VST or AU plugin inside a digital audio workstation (DAW).
Solution
New Free Vst Plugins
After downloading Equator from My ROLI and then installing it, the Equator plugin is saved in the following locations:
Mac
- VST Plug-in: Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/
- AU Plug-in: Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/
Windows
- VST Plug-in (32-bit): C:Program FilesCommon Files(x86)SteinbergVST2
- VST Plug-in (64-bit): C:Program FilesCommon FilesSteinbergVST2
Ensuring your DAW is using the correct plug-in location
Some DAWs have different default locations to scan for plugins. If you have installed a plugin (like Equator) and can’t seem to access it from your DAW, check the DAW’s settings to ensure that it is looking in the right folder. In some DAWs you can set additional folders to scan automatically.
